Ashland Bullmastiffs 

Ashland Bullmastiffs is located just outside of Nashville, Tennessee on 30 Acres with 2 ponds, creeks, waterfalls, pasture and wooded areas for the dogs to enjoy.  We have been active in raising, training and showing Labrador Retrievers  under the Ashland prefix since 1984, however always being fond of the Bullmastiff for many years, we decided in 2005 to go forward with adding a couple of Bullmastiffs.  Multiple breeds are sometimes a down-fall for breeders, however the Bullmastiff fits our lifestyle so well that we could not imagine our home without one.

Over the years, I have been active in many different areas of the dog world from hunting test, obedience and agility trials to conformation shows.   I have held dog training classes for the public, worked as a field/hunt test trainer, obtained certification as a Vet technician, ran a Labrador rescue organization for a number of years here in Middle Tennessee and was founder and past President of the Labrador Breeders Club of Middle Tennessee.  Currently, I continue to compete in conformation shows with my dogs as well as handling other breeds on occasion for others. My youngest daughter Kristen often accompanies me at the shows, is my ringside assistant and she also competes in Junior showmanship.  Mark Brown, my best friend and fiancée also owns and shows the dogs with me. He really enjoys the Bullmastiffs and spoils them rotten!

 Aside from our dogs which is a full time job in itself,   Mark and I own M/T Performance which is a performance & custom Motorcycle Shop located  in Clarksville, Tennessee. We are a "pet friendly" shop, always bringing some of our dogs or puppies to the shop for extra socializing.
